STEP 1
 VIST THIS URL http://www.google.com/mobile/sms/mail/ now click on create account if you already have sign in

immediately you add your number they will send you sms alert to confirm your number for the sms alert a short code will be send to your number now input  this code their to confirm maybe it your number

then click on send code like it is above in the image below after the code is send to you then input it after that you are done you can now receive sms alert on your phone.
